A Ladbrokes worker was assaulted and held at gun point in the latest in a string of armed robberies at bookies.

Staff at the betting shop in Twickenham Road, Isleworth, were threatened at gunpoint while the 32-year-old male member of staff was forced to hand over cash on Sunday.

The robber raided the shop with his face covered by a black and white scarf. He was described as being a black man, 20-years-old, of thin build and was wearing a black baseball cap, light cream shirt, black trousers and a yellow jacket.
