A BLAZE engulfed a Hillingdon shop and took 20 firefighters to get under control.

Four fire engines were sent to the shop in New Broadway, Hillingdon, at 10.46am today (Friday).

One woman left the building, which included flats above the shop, before the fire brigade arrived.

No-one was injured although the ground floor was ravaged by the fire.

An investigation into the cause has been launched.
