A child and two adults were led to safety uninjured after flames tore out in a Greenford flat today (January 13).

The London Fire Brigade was called to Mary Peters Drive in Greenford just before 11am and the blaze was under control in 25 minutes.

About 10 per cent of a flat on the ground floor of a block was damaged in the incident.

The brigade have now left the scene and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
