THE Bishop of Kensington visited Hounslow this week to discuss the importance of family and community bonds.

The Right Reverend Paul Williams addressed members of Hounslow Friends of Faith (HFOF), a union of leaders from different faiths, at Hounslow Jamia Mosque, in Wellington Road South, Hounslow, on Tuesday.

He told the audience how there was too much pressure on children to succeed at exams and secure highly-paid jobs, and not enough focus on relationships.

Bessie White, secretary of HFOF, said: "It was very helpful to have Bishop Paul with us as leaders of the different faiths, Christian, Sikh, Muslim, Buddhist and Hindu came together."
