A MOTORCYCLIST who died in a crash in Hayes was a security officer from Cranford.

Krzysztof Dygasiewicz, 34, was killed in an accident on A4 Bath Road, close to junction of Noble Drive and just north of Heathrow airport, just after 9pm on Thursday, June 6.

The Polish national, who lived in High Street, Cranford, came off his Suzuki motorbike in the collision, and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The inquest into his death was opened and adjourned at West London Coroner's Court in Fulham on Friday last week. No provisional cause of death was given.

A 35 year-old man who was driving the pickup truck involved in the collision suffered minor injuries.

He was later arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, causing death whilst under the influence of alcohol, aggravated taking and driving away, causing death whilst uninsured and having no licence or insurance.

He has been bailed until September 4 while the Met Police road death investigation unit in Northolt piece together what happened.
Detectives are appealing for witnesses to the accident to come forward.
