A collision took place last night, causing severe traffic delays between Kingston Lane and Harlington Road at 5.10pm last night.
Paramedics sent road crews and an air ambulance who treated the 22 year-old biker at the scene.
He was airlifted to the Royal London Hospital where he remains at this stage.
The motorcyclist, who has not been named, is believed to be in a stable condition.
He works at Coopers Estate Agents in Hillingdon Hill.
A colleague said: "I saw his bike in the middle of the road and raced up there while he was treated.
"He was on a ventilator until 10pm when he was taken off and began breathing again around 10pm."
