Big-hearted nursery class give Christmas presents to children

Children from an Uxbridge nursery school joined in a global Christmas present appeal by collecting toys for children abroad.

Children from an Uxbridge nursery school joined in a global Christmas present appeal by collecting toys for children abroad.

Hermitage Nursery provided 16 boxes to add to the stacks already collected at Christchurch in Redford Way, Uxbridge.

In addition to toys, they brought sweets, chocolate, warm gloves, hats and books.

They helped bring the grand total to more than 250 boxes, part of the Love In A Box Appeal.

The Christmas gifts were despatched last Wednesday to countries in eastern Europe.
