This huge fish is a sight sure to have fat cats everywhere purring with excitement.

The huge 'bacha' which tips the scales at a whopping 92kg - or 14st 7lb - landed at Hounslow Mas Bazaar in Hanworth Road, Hounslow, on Friday.

The freshwater fish, one of the biggest of its species ever caught, was imported from Burma and cost s460 wholesale.

Khalik Miah, who has owned the grocery store for three years, said he bought it as a surprise for one of his most loyal customers.

"He loves fish and always buys the biggest one we've got so when he said he was having a dinner party we thought we'd get the biggest we could find," explained the 40-year-old.

"I've never seen a fish that comes close to this before - hopefully I'll get an invite so I can see what it tastes like."
