Big Brother contestant Marcus Akin from Brentford has survived the verbal slings and arrows of his fellow housemates and also a pelting with fruit and veg.
The Wolverine-lookalike, 35, declared this week that his “will is unbreakable” and proved it by toughing out a series of arguments and insults thrown his way.
First glamour model Karly from Fife accused the local lad of “hoachin”, in a private rant in the diary room about his personal hygiene.
And student union president Sree, from India, made the subject of Marcus' cleanliness, or alleged lack of it, public, in one of his many spats with the window fitter this week.
The pair have locked horns on several occasions over the affections of housemate Noirin, whom Akin described as “the sexiest girl in the house”.
Sree snidely offered to lend some of his mouthwash if it would improve Marcus' breath, and Marcus hit back saying: “If your doctor's given it to you, he's obviously trying to tell you something.”
On Tuesday night viewers saw former Hounslow Manor pupil Marcus playing the role of 'village idiot' in a Henry VIII-themed task. He was placed in the stocks and housemates had to pelt him with fruit whenever 'King Henry' (housemate Siavash) answered a question incorrectly.
Meanwhile the Brentford boy continues to generate comments on Big Brother fan sites, especially after nicknaming himself “Captain Cool as F***” in the diaryroom.
A poster on the Digital Spy website said: “He's about as cool as Alan Partridge”. Another commenter, called Gracie, added: “The glib way in which he's sure he is the coolest man in the house actually makes me like him more. He's just a bit of a lovable berk.”
