A drummer from Hounslow did his best to wow Britain's Got Talent judges last night by banging on pots and watering cans to the sound of Madonna and Justin Timberlake.

But the new material from Bang On failed to move judges Piers Morgan, Amanda Holden and Simon Cowell and Dave Smith, who grew up in Argyle Avenue, went home disappointed along with partner Katie Stephenson.

Amanda Holden even told the harsh ex-Mirror editor: "You're talking out of your...bin!"

The duo met at Brunel University and beat thousands of other entries to make it thourgh to last night's semi-final.

Andrew Johnston, a 13-year-old chorister, and Cheeky Monkeys will return on Saturday night for the final and chance to perform for the Queen.
