A MILITARY author visited a pop-up library to sign copies of his new book.

Daniel Ridley-Kitts wrote Military, Naval and Civil Airships Since 1783, which has recently been published by The History Press.

He paid a visit to Preston Community Library, Preston Road, on Wednesday last week, to sign copies of his book.

This is the author’s first publication and charts the history and development of the airship and tells the story of early ‘aeronauts’, who learned how to navigate in the air.

The book looks at the first airship and describes how they are being reconsidered in the modern world for a number of uses. It is available to buy from Amazon and other retailers.

Preston Community Library is open on Mondays and Wednesdays, from 1pm to 2pm, and Thursdays from 2pm to 4.30pm. It is free to join and to borrow books from the library.
