A MAN is suffering from life threatening injuries following an assault.

Police were called at 7am on Tuesday to reports of a man bleeding from head and throat injuries in Church Lane, Kingsbury.

The man, believed to be in his 30s, was taken to a central London hospital and his injuries are thought to be life threatening.

Officers are investigating and no arrests have been made.

A spokeswoman for the London Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 6.58 this morning to reports of an assault on Church Lane. We sent an ambulance crew and a duty officer and the medical team from the London Air Ambulance in a car.

“Our staff treated one patient, a man reported to be in his 20s, who was taken to hospital.”
