A MAN has appeared in court accused of possessing a firearm and making threats to kill following an incident in Ealing on Thursday.

Peter Prosser appeared before Ealing Magistrates Court on Friday 17 and was remanded in custody to reappear at Isleworth Crown Court at a later date.

His arrest came after armed police stormed a home in Creffield Road, Ealing, just after midday on Thursday July 15, following reports that a 53-year-old was 'threatening and harassing' a 39-year-old with an air gun.

The incident was alleged to be a landlord-tenant dispute.

Ian Troop, who lives nearby, saw between eight and 10 police cars and a couple of ambulances park outside the house.

He said: "The police blocked off Creffield Road at the Ealing Common end and there must have been about 10 armed officers who went inside the house."

They emerged about 45 minutes later and the roads were opened after approximately an hour.

London Ambulance said nobody was injured during the incident on Thursday.
