Police hunting an armed robber who threatened a motorist with a gun has released this e-fit.

Having lured his victim to a secluded carpark in Sudbury Hill using an advert he posted on Internet site Gumtree, he threatened the unsuspecting victim before stealing his car.

The suspect posted an advert on the site, which is like an online notice board, asking for buyers of his silver VW Golf.

But when an interested buyer agreed to meet him at Clementine Churchill Hospital on Friday, February 12, at 7pm, his quick test drive was halted when the con man pulled the firearm on him and stole his grey Rover 75.

Police believe an accomplice drove the Golf from the scene after the robbery occurred.

They also believe the Golf is known to be using cloned number plates.

Detectives are now on the hunt for the prime suspect and the victim's car, which has the licence registration W632 TMJ.

The suspect is described as a black stocky man aged between 25 and 30, with black shaven hair. He is thought to have been wearing blue nurses scrubs and a plaster just below his lip.

He is also thought to be from either Harrow or Brent.
