Harlington Community School, named in the top five per cent of schools nationally for A-Level performance last year, has continued its proud history of excellent results.

It secured a 98 per cent pass rate, with 75 per cent of students getting A*-C grades.

Head girl, Badushi Jeganthan (pictured left), who is going to read medicine, said: "I’m ecstatic that I got into University of East Anglia – I owe my success to the Harlington Staff who have always supported me."

Headteacher Elizabeth Horrigan added: "It is a testament to all the hard work on the part of students and staff that our young men and women have achieved such excellent results, and we wish them every success in their future lifelong learning.
