Where to find Remembrance Services this weekend

Eastcote

A Royal British Legion (RBL) parade will start at 10.40am at Abbotsbury Gardens.

It will proceed along Field End Road to Eastcote War Memorial, near the junction with Deane Croft Road, for the service, which is expected to end at about 11.20am.

The parade will return along Field End Road, passing the saluting dais, to Abbotsbury Gardens.

Light refreshments will be available after the ceremony at the Royal British Legion, in Southbourne Gardens.

Harefield

A service is being held at 3pm at the war memorial on The Green.

Harlington

The Parish Church of St Peter and St Paul, in High Street, has its service at 10.45am, followed by wreath laying at the war memorial.

Hayes

A parade will start bright and early at 8.45am at the bandstand in Barra Hall Park, in Church Road, in time for the service of remembrance at St Mary’s Church in Church Road, which starts at 9.30am.

The service will be followed by a short act of remembrance at the cenotaph at 11am.

The Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, in Botwell Lane, is holding a service at 10am.

The service at Salem Baptist Family Church, in West Drayton Road, starts at 10.45am.

Hillingdon

The RBL parade begins at 10.30am at Hillingdon Fire Station, in Uxbridge Road.

There is then a short service and wreath laying at the war memorial in the churchyard of St John The Baptist Church, Hillingdon Hill, at 10.50am, followed by a service in the church at 11am.

Refreshments will be provided at the RBL headquarters after the service.

Northwood

There will be a parade at 10.30am at the town’s war memorial, followed by a rededication of the memorial and Remembrance Day service.

Ruislip

A service starts at 10.20am at the saluting dais in the High Street, at the old memorial site.

Refreshments will be provided at the RBL afterwards.

There will also be a service and a wreath laying ceremony at the Polish War Memorial, at the junction of the A40 and West End Road.

The service will start at 10.30am and wreaths will be laid at 11am.

Uxbridge

47 Signal Squadron with Churches Together and The Salvation Army will host a service of remembrance at The Salvation Army Hall in Cowley Road at 10am, followed by a parade and wreath laying ceremony at the Uxbridge War Memorial, at Mahjack’s Roundabout.

Yiewsley

St Matthew’s Church, in High Street, has a service at 10.30am, followed by the laying of wreaths and an act of remembrance at the war memorial in the church gardens at 11am.

Refreshments will be available afterwards in the parish centre.
