A motorist from Edgware left a trail of destruction as he drove wildly around north-west London - and crashed into 24 cars.
Bhagyesh Mehta, 45, of Turner Road, was only stopped when he smashed his W-reg blue Ford Fiesta into a stationary van and a passer-by dragged him from behind the wheel.
Mehta today (Tuesday) pleaded guilty to dangerous driving, failing to provide a specimen and harassment at Harrow Magistrates' Court.
Prosecutor Nim Hennessy said Mehta's estranged wife told officers Mehta had driven back and forth outside her house on Sunday at 10.30pm, and was revving the engine of his Fiesta.
He purposely shone his headlights into her front room and swore at her while she stayed indoors with her son, saying: "You f*****g b***h, get out of my house."
Mrs Mehta explained to police that when she peered through the spyhole in her front door, Mehta appeared drunk.
He finally drove away but soon collided with a silver Peugeot in Mollison Way.
Mrs Hennessy said a local shopkeeper spotted the smash and followed Mehta in his own vehicle for an hour around Stanmore and Edgware until the 45-year-old collided with the van in Bacon Lane, Stanmore.
"He crashed into 24 cars," she said. "Luckily nobody was injured because they were all parked cars.
"You can imagine the devastation that he caused."
Mehta was remanded back into custody and will be sentenced at Harrow Crown Court at a date to be decided.
Magistrates, who were told the defendant had been subject to a community order with an alcohol treatment requirement at the time of the offence, imposed an interim driving ban on him until sentencing.
