IF YOU thought animals couldn't talk, you're barking up the wrong tree.

That's according to the world-renowned pet psychic Amelia Kinkade, who gave a reading from her books Straight from the Horse's Mouth and The Language of Miracles at Just Barking pet store, in Chamberlayne Road, Queen's Park.

The American animal mind reader helped officially open the dog and cat grooming salon and pet accessory shop last Wednesday.

Ms Kinkade discovered her talents several years ago while "having a chat" with two golden retrievers at a Hollywood party.

Ms Kinkade 'saw' that one of the dogs was having an allergic reaction to new carpets in the owner's home and 'felt' that the owner's room-mate had just had painful dental surgery on the same side of his mouth where the dog was scratching. When her judgements proved true, Ms Kinkade realised her talent.
