A keen gardener from Feltham has grown two giant pumpkins , the largest weighing a whopping 78 kilos.

Adrian Chun, 55, of Carlton Avenue, grew the jumbo-sized vegetables at his plot at the Viola Farm allotments in north Feltham , which will be carved this Halloween.

It took six months to harvest to their monstrous sizes with his largest ever at 78 kilos or just over 12 stones and the other slightly smaller at 63 kilos.

Both will be carved for Halloween and the seeds will be used to grow a bigger pumpkin next year.

The seeds which are Paton Twins from Thompson and Morgan were planted back in April, and moved to the allotment plot in June this year.

Mr Chun also grows sweetcorn, beetroot, tomatoes, cucumbers, potatoes, marrows, onions, peppers, courgette's and aubergines.

Next year Mr Chun is hoping to run a pumpkin growing contest.
