A 41-year-old man who regularly cycles along the stretch of canal where Alice Gross was last seen has been reported missing.
Arnis Zalkalns, 41, was last seen during the evening of Wednesday, September 3. It is believed he left home early on Thursday, September 4 to travel to work.
The team investigating Alice’s disappearance is aware of this missing person report and are looking at it as one of many lines of enquiry.
Police say he normally cycles and his route takes him along the Grand Union Canal. He uses a red Trek Mountain Bike. Police have now released more information about missing Arnis Zalkans.
Arnis is white, 5ft 10ins, stocky build with dark brown hair habitually tied in a pony tail.
His disappearance is out of character and police would like to speak with him to see if he can help with their enquiries.
