A HILLINGDON-born man has been named as one of those who died on the plane that crashed in the Atlantic this week.

Neil Warrior, 49, worked as a public relations director for Mazda, and worked in Cologne, Germany prior to the crash.

Jeff Guyton, president and CEO of Mazda Europe, said: "Our entire company is shocked and saddened by this terrible news.

"It simply isn't enought to say Neil will be sorely missed, the loss goes deeper than that, becuase someone like Neil cannot be replaced.

"He was a warm, kind and fun eprson who will never be forgotten by those who knew him.

"Our hearts go out to his father, sister and brother, we want them to know it was a privilege to have had Neil as our colleague and friend."

It is believed Mr Warrior was returning from holidaying in Brazil when the plane went down over the Atlantic.

Military jets are currently trying to trace the wreckage of Air France flight 447, and terrorism has not yet been ruled out.

Mr Warrior was born in Hillingdon on 13 April 1961.
