A WOMAN from Acton has earned the nickname 'Miss Slinky' after shedding more than five stone.
Laura Anderson, 29, dropped from a size 24 to a size 14 after her involvement with the Hanwell branch of Slimming World.
She said: “I’ve always thought of Christmas as the time of year to dress up in something gorgeous and sparkly, and now I know I’ll have lots of fun finding a perfect outfit.
“Before I used to avoid certain shops or styles because of my size, but now I can go anywhere and still find something that not only fits but looks great too.”
Slimming World in Hanwell runs every Wednesday at 6.30pm or 8pm at Brentside High School.
