ARTWORK by young members of Hammersmith and Fulham Action on Disability has been unveiled in Bishop’s Park.

The project, a joint venture between the charities Together We Create, John Lyons Charity and The Daisy Trust, involved more than 10 members of HAFAD creating impressive images of the park and Fulham Palace, which have been attached to railings opposite Fulham Palace Garden Centre.

Hammersmith and Fulham Mayor, Councillor Belinda Donovan was there for the unveiling and said she was impressed by the work, which also drew praise from Friends of Bishop’s Park.

Chairman Amanda Lloyd-Harris said: “It really shows off the park well and it’s a fantastic example of the community getting together to contribute something positive.”

John MacNeely of HAFAD, added: “All the children had a fantastic time. They always take a lot of pride in what they do and I think that is reflected in their work.”
