Students were delighted with their A-level results as more than three quarters received A*-C grades at Isleworth & Syon School for Boys.

As overall results dipped for the first time in decades, the school in Isleworth bucked the trend with a slight rise across the board.

A total of 77 per cent of passes were A*-C, with 25 per cent achieving A* and A grades.

The overall pass rate was 100 per cent.

Headteacher Euan Ferguson said: "Our students achieved a stunning 100% pass rate.

"Over three-quarters of the results were at grade C and above, with 25% at A/A*.

"There were some outstanding individual achievements, with a number of students gaining entry to university in September.

"These gains are a testimony to the school’s commitment to be ‘outstanding in every respect’.

"Congratulations to all of the students and staff for their hard work and dedication.

"We wish all our students the very best in the next stage of their education."

Students were celebrating their A-level results across the borough including more results from Cranford Community College, Kingsley Academy, and Brentford School for Girls.
