THRILLED pupils at Nower Hill High School celebrated with their friends about their 'good' results, with 88 per cent of students securing a place at the University of their choice.
Nower Hill High School in George V Avenue, Pinner achieved their best results to date for A level results, 57 per cent achieved A* to B grades and 99.8 per cent achieved A to E grades.
Jack Humble, 18 from Pinner achieved an A* in maths, A in further maths, A in physics and B in music.
He has got a place at Imperial College in London to study material sciences.
He said: "I am thrilled with my results, really pleased. I didn't think I would do so well. I have now secured a place at Imperial which is great. I did a lot better than I expected, which makes me very happy."
Maddy Dann, 18, from Pinner got A* in art and design, A in history and A in English Literature.
She said: "I am so pleased with results, I can't believe it. I did so well. Getting all A's is brilliant, am still really excited about it. I have told my family who are really pleased for me.
"I worked so hard for the exams, I couldn't have worked harder so am just so pleased the work paid off.
"I would like to have a career in advertising and have been offered a place at Manchester School of Art to study graphic design but not sure if I will definitely go now that I have done so well, I should have some more options."
Head of Sixth Form at Nower Hill High School, Marianne Jeanes said: "We are obviously really pleased with everyone, they all worked really hard and achieved good results, 88 per cent of our students got into the university of their choice, it has been our best year to date and I am so chuffed for them."
