Kensington and Chelsea police are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of a 71-year-old man from Hammersmith.

Oliver Defoe was last seen at 12.50 pm yesterday (April 28) in the Du Cane Road area of Hammersmith. Another reported sighting was at 1.55 pm near the Eagle Pub in the Ladbroke Grove area of Notting Hill.

He is described as a black male, 6ft 1ins tall, bald and a very slim build. At the time of his disappearance Oliver was wearing a cream jacket and grey jeans.

Oliver is currently undergoing treatment for a serious condition leaving him vulnerable to any infection. He may also be confused due to his mild dementia.

Oliver is known to frequent the Bonchurch Road, Kensington area having know been demolished and rebuilt as Portabello Town. He used to live in one of the flats and sometimes still believes he does as a result of his dementia.
