THE demise of the bendy bus continues as they were withdrawn from route 38 and replaced with double deckers on Saturday.
Passengers will notice a further change as every bus will now run between Victoria and Hackney Central, with alternate buses carrying onward to Clapton Pond.
Between Victoria and Hackney Central on weekdays, buses will run approximately every two to four minutes in the day time and every five to six minutes in the evenings.
On Saturdays, buses will run every three to four minutes during the day and every six minutes in the evening.
On Sundays, buses will run every five minutes during the day and every six minutes in the evenings.
At peak times on week days, passengers will see up to seven extra buses an hour.
Night bus service N38, from Victoria to Walthamstow Central, will also be increased to run every 12 minutes, and will continue to operate double decker buses in the future.
