We truly live in a beautiful city - and this collection of photos proves why London is (officially) the best in the world.
Captured over a period of six months by the Metropolitan Police helicopter - NPAS London - these photos show some of the city's greatest landmarks, biggest events and beautiful views.
From the skies above London, the NPAS London crew captured some incredible sights, sharing stunning photos from its Twitter account @NPASLondon.
From the fabulous fireworks that marked the start of 2015, to views of the city lit up at night, the NPAS team have seen it all.
The crew got unique views of some of the city's best-known landmarks, including The Shard, Twickenham Stadium, the London Eye, Heathrow Airport, Chelsea FC's Stamford Bridge, Tower Bridge, Lord's Cricket Ground, the home of the Wimbledon Championships, the O2, the Globe Theatre, the Tower of London and Ealing Studios.
But the crew have also been hard at work, tracking criminals, assisting emergency services and gaining a special view of some of the city's biggest stories such as a power black-out in Fulham and the discovery of an unexploded WW2 bomb in Wembley.
