Detectives investigating the shooting of Daniel Denis in Acton have offered a £30k reward for information as the anniversary of his death approaches.

The 26-year-old father was gunned down on Brassie Avenue as he sat in his car on September 18 last year.

No-one has yet been charged with the slaying but in a bid to get more people to come forward a £20,000 reward has now been offered for information leading to a prosecution. A further £10,000 has been put up for the recovery of the firearm.

A statement issued on behalf of Daniel's family read: "Since this callous act, we have heard that his killers have been boasting of their accomplishment. If they have said anything to you or you have heard anything that can help, you can bring them to justice and at the same time lift the burden from your mind and heart."
