A YEAR after a 21-year-old man was stabbed to death in a quiet Northolt lane, police detectives are offering a reward of up to £20,000 for information.
Adeniyi Lateef Shode, known to friends as Ade or Enda, of Edgware was taken to St Mary's hospital on May 2 last year where he later died.
He was stabbed around 9pm at the junction of Ealing Road and Kensington Road near the slip road to the A40 Western Avenue and behind Belvue Park.
A post-mortem examination gave cause of death as stab wounds.
His mother Antonia Frances said: "All our family thinks about Ade every day. We remember his laugh and smile and he always remains in our thoughts.
"It still hurts us to think that whoever killed Ade is still out there and we pray that it doesn't happen to anyone else's family."
Police are offering a £20,000 reward for any information leading to the identification, arrest and prosecution of the person responsible for Mr Shode's murder.
Detective Inspector Andy Manning, leading the investigation, said: "Ade Shode was a young man who was murdered in the prime of his life. It is suspected Ade knew his attacker and he was murdered because of a previous disagreement between him and the killer.
"I am appealing to anyone who has any information with regard to this senseless killing to come forward and give information to police.
"In particular I am keen to speak with anyone who has any knowledge as to who killed Ade, why he was killed and who else was present during this unprovoked and violent attack."

In May last year, two men aged 20 and 19, and two women, aged 22 and 18, were arrested in connection with the murder. All four were bailed pending further enquiries.
