A 15-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a man was stabbed in Hounslow on Saturday (May 10).

A 24-year-old man was  stabbed in the Travelodge hotel, at the corner of Lampton Road and Bulstrode Road, just before 1pm, police have confirmed.

A Met spokeswoman said the man was airlifted to an east London hospital, where he remains this afternoon, with stab wounds. She added that his injuries are described as serious but are not thought to be life-threatening.

The stabbing is believed by police to have taken place in a hallway outside one of the rooms at the hotel, though investigations are at an early stage.

A 15-year-old boy was arrested later that day on suspicion of attempted murder and has been bailed pending further enquiries.

The victim was said on Wednesday afternoon to be making a good recovery in hospital.
