Queensmead students are celebrating a 100 per cent pass rate in their A-level exams.

Deputy Headteacher James Luck congratulated the year 13 teenagers, saying :"These are the best results we've ever had."

A total of 77 per cent of students at the school in Queens Walk, South Ruislip, gained A - C passes, and the school came out with an average point score of 762.

Daniel Hoare (left) gained four A* grades in Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry and will go on to Bath University to read Physics. The school saw Oxbridge success for Joshua Phillips (right), who gained an A* in Maths and two As in Geography and History and who will read Geography at Cambridge University.

Other exceptional performances at the school include Ashkan Pakzad who achieved four A* and is going to UCL to study Medical Physics, Paige Buckley who achieved two A* grades and two As, Kyle Hooper with three A* grades, Sophie Hopson and Ravi Morjaria with one A* and two A grades, and Ramandeep Sangherra and Talha Mir who secured three A grades.
