Cadogan Estate is holding a public consultation to find out what people would like to see in six new retail units on Pavilion Road, just off Sloane Square.

It says it wants to create a neighbourhood destination with a village feel and provide amenities for everyone to use and enjoy.

It is asking for feedback to ensure that the shops best cater to what the community most needs.

Chief executive Hugh Seaborn said: “Our aim is to create a neighbourhood destination along Pavilion Road which enhances Chelsea’s village feel and provides amenities for the benefit and enjoyment of those who live and work in the area.”

The six shops are currently being built on Pavilion Road, as part of Cadogan’s development at 131 Sloane Street.

The building sits on the southern end of this internationally recognised address in Chelsea, which will provide a unique shopping experience with a mix of retail, office space, a new restaurant and a landscaped courtyard.

Options available include independent artisan food stores such as wine merchant, butchers, bakers, deli or cheese shop.

Residents and businesses will receive a questionnaire, which will also be accessible through a new website for the consultation www.pavilionroad.co.uk. All comments must be returned before June 12.
