A new gym is limbering up to open later this month in Hounslow.

Xercise4Less is due to open its first London premises at the old Gala Bingo hall in Staines Road, Hounslow, on August 28.

It will be the latest addition to the town centre's already thriving fitness scene, joining workout venues including Golds, the gym and Anytime Fitness.

Members signing up before Xercise4Less's new gym opens can take advantage of the reduced price of £9.99 a month.

The group, which already has 29 gyms across the country, says its latest venue has already racked up record membership sales more than a fortnight ahead of the launch.

Club manager Richard Yhap said: "In my 30 years in the fitness industry this has to be one of the most successful pre-sales I have ever been involved in.

"The people of London can't get enough of Xercise4Less. The price point currently on offer is unheard of in London, so the fact that we have broken the group's sales record already is not surprising."

In addition to value for money, the south-west London gym will feature a number of fitness zones including cardio, free weights, combat and a ladies only area, plus a large fitness studio that will host more than 40 free classes a week.
