Celebrities' favourite rainwear brand is opening its first independent UK store in west London.

Hatley, the international clothing brand popular with famous children such as Suri Cruise, Seraphina Affleck and Apple Martin, announced the launch of its first stand-alone boutique on Chiswick High Road.

Alongside the opening, the company has launched its UK website and a grand opening will be held on October 3.

Creative director and co-owner Nicholas Oldland, the designer and illustrator behind all of Hatley’s signature prints and author of several children’s books, said: “My family is English and myself and my brother Jeremy lived in England, so it’s long been a dream of ours to open a store in the UK. We couldn’t be more excited about the launch.”

The shop will stock popular kid's rain gear, swimwear and pajama collections as well as the latest lines of women's and children's daywear.

Hatley founded 30 years ago by John and Alice Oldland now has its products carried by retailers in over 30 countries including Harrods, Selfridges and John Lewis, but the new west London opening marks the company's first independent store in the UK.
