A new Sue Ryder charity shop is due to open its doors to bargain hunters in the heart of Feltham town centre on Friday (Dec 12).

The store located on Bedfont Lane, next to the railway stations and McDonalds, will hold its grand opening at 10am and will give the first 50 customers free tickets to enter its prize draw for a chance to win some wonderful goodies.

Shop manager Richard Batty and a team of staff are seeking volunteers to show shoppers around the store which will be filled with everything from furniture, dolls houses and guitars to second hand clothes, music and books.

Mr Batty said: “We are recruiting volunteers to help with everything from sorting and preparing stock to merchandising and sales and are also appealing for people to donate furniture, good quality clothing, books and bric-a-brac.

"By supporting Sue Ryder in this way, local people can help us to make a real difference to the lives of the people we care for each year.

Money raised from the shop will help Sue Ryder continue to provide local specialist hospice and neurological care.
