Help is on hand for people needing career advice when the jobs show comes to town in October.

The National Careers Service will be offering free support to help improve career prospects at Westfield shopping centre, in Shepherd’s Bush, on October 9 and 10.

It can provide help and advice to people facing redundancy, returning to the job market, hoping to retrain work or find training courses.

The job show will showcase thousands of employment and training opportunities for Londoners, with many of the best local, national and international companies exhibiting.

National Careers Service advisers will offer free careers advice and run seminars on writing CV’s, interview techniques and using social media for job searches. The advisers can help you develop a career plan and show you how to gain maximum benefits from the National Careers Service website.

Companies and organisations attending include BP, Amway, British Airways, Jaguar, NHS, Avon, Heathrow Airport, Greggs and John Lewis.

It runs from 10am-7pm on both days. Booking is not required.
