For all you fitness fanatics occasionally led astray by the temptation of a cold pint, listen up.

Beer yoga, the simple and appealing concept of exercise with alcohol, is coming to London this month and it sounds fantastic.

From Saturday (June 3), the yoga sessions will be held every week in Hackney at London Fields Brewery in The Taproom.

What more could enhance your relaxation than a couple of pints of the London Fields Easy IPA?

The beer yoga concept, which originated from the German Bier Yoga, has spread on an international scale since January this year.

Instructors at Bier Yoga described the combination as a "marriage of two great loves".

They said: "Both are centuries-old therapies for body, mind and soul.

"The joy of drinking beer and the mindfulness of yoga compliment each other, and make for an energizing experience."

However, unlike some countries where participants drink beer throughout the session, this London-based yoga will be a little different.

Good Yoga Life will have thirsty participants enjoying a post-yoga pint instead, after the session has finished.

The £15 sessions are running every Saturday at The Taproom, 365-366 Warburton St, E8 3RR.

The beer yoga sessions from June 3, from 10am to 11am, and you can book tickets here .

Enjoy!
