Could you offer a home to Biscuit?
Could you offer a home to Biscuit?

Biscuit has had a day out at Windsor Castle. This handsome boy deserves a day out. He has been waiting for a home with Battersea Dogs and Cats Home for over a year.

The average length of stay for a dog at the home is 35 days but Biscuit has been in their care over one year. He arrived as a stray at Battersea’s Old Windsor Centre in February last year when he was 8 months old. He was taken into a foster home with Battersea last September in order to give him a break from kennels and also to get him used to living in a home.

His foster carers say “Biscuit is such a wonderful, loveable dog who has come on leaps and bounds in his training since moving in with us and settling into a home environment”. He has learnt lots of commands and knows: sit, down, paw, other paw, away and no. He is working on leave, stay, watch and off. Biscuit is housetrained and a good traveller in the car. He is looking for experienced owners to help him reach his full potential. If this could be you, contact Battersea at the Old Windsor site on 01784 494443.

Dogs Trust is holding their massive Summer Open Day and Fun Dog Show on Sunday June 1 and they are calling for home-made biscuits and cakes for their cake stall. This is one of their most popular stalls and it always sells out quickly. If you can make any, please deliver them to Dogs Trust on Saturday May 31 or bring them with you on the day.

They are also in need of prizes such as toiletries, cosmetics and unwanted gifts for the Tombola and treats, toys and dog biscuits for the Dog Tombola. The Open Day takes place from 10.30am to 4pm at Harvil Road, Harefield UB9 6JW. There will be a Swing and Jazz Band, funfair rides, games and bouncy castle.
