Apparently summer is here, although you would know it from the weather.

And along with Wimbledon, the Olympics and dodging rainstorms, what could be more British than going to a summer fair? There are some really great ones on this summer, perfect for the whole family.

West London Mum and West London Tots have joined forces to raise funds for GOSH, by holding a summer fair on 4th July at The Hampshire Hog (227 King St, Hammersmith).

The fair is very geared up for children, with Diddidance, Storytelling Adventures and a performance from Classical Babies. For parents there will be cupcake decorating, talks on getting children to sleep better, as well as over 30 stalls selling gorgeous things from local producers. Perfect for finding unique gifts and goodies for you and your little ones!

Fair on the Green, Parsons Green. The fabulous Fair on the Green returns this year on the 7th July, for its 21st anniversary. Showcasing over 100 stalls, with lots of fun activities for all ages, ranging from Punch and Judy shows to Dancing Displays and Fire Easters. This fair makes a fun day out for all the family, and as it’s a stone’s throw from some of the best pubs in Fulham, you can make a real day of it!

Daisy Trust Summer Fair at the Hurlingham Club. A little later in the year, the local charity ‘The Daisy Trust’ are holding a fair at the prestigious Hurlingham Club on Monday 24th September. Stalls will be offering fashion, homewares and an assortment of goodies for children, as well as cakes, a prize draw and plenty of coffee. Definitely one to put in your diary!
