Wembley's biggest restaurant - the 550 seater Jimmy’s World Kitchen is celebrating its first week of opening.

It was officially opened by the Mayor Of Brent, Cllr Bobby Thomas on Thursday November 29, with 450 VIP guests from local businesses and the community attending.

Jimmy's cost £1.6million and will serve-up more than 100 dishes from around the world, all of them freshly prepared at live cooking stations by an army of 20 chefs.

To demonstrate its global reach, the Dhol Drummers, a Mariachi Band, Chinese Lion Dance and Geisha Girls all provided multicultural entertainment on the launch night.

Renato, manager of Jimmy’s World Kitchen Wembley, said: "Jimmy’s is a true dining experience, loved for our all-you-can-eat menu and the excitement we give to every guest as our chefs cook every imaginable dish in front of their eyes. No other restaurant brings together the authentic flavours and visual spectacle of the world’s most popular recipes, freshly cooked to order. For all of us who work here, food is both art and entertainment."

Jimmy’s World Kitchen has created 80 jobs locally from waiting staff to management. There is literally something for everyone: from the flaming Chinese stir-fry, authentic Indian Dosa & live Tandoor plus desserts from hand churned ice cream to fresh churros coated with cinnamon and sugar and dipped in chocolate sauce.

Jimmy's World Grill & Bar was established in 2003 and operates 10 sites, with a head office in Solihull. The Wembley Park restaurant is the company's tenth.
