A Feltham model is excited to reach the grand final of the Top Model UK 2015 contest.

Irma Bulaityte, originally from Lithuania, has been modelling for some time and is one of 30 finalists in the over 25s category set to take the runway at the Hilton London Metropole next month.

This is the first modelling contest she has entered and, after being shortlisted, was invited for a live casting in London, before being picked to be in the finals.

Ms Bulaityte said: "I've been working as a model for quite some time and really enjoy it but its not an easy job and can be very challenging as well.

"The live casting went so well. I was a bit nervous as this was the first modelling contest I had applied for.

"I am looking forward to opportunities that allow me to experience new places, meet new people and set a positive example to others.

"I am a very ambitious person and I always take one step forward to achieve something better than what I want."

More than 4,000 people entered the competition and 160 models have made it to the finals and will be competing in six categories.

This year's contest is in support of charity Children with Cancer UK and there is a public vote award with all proceeds donated to the organisation.

To vote for Irma and pledge your support to the children's charity go to www.topmodeluk.com - over 25s category - profile number six. Voting ends midnight on Wednesday March 11.

The grand finals will be held on March 13 and 14.
