Brentford brought their curtain down on a memorable season with a comfortable 2-0 win over Stevenage on Saturday.

Second half goals from Stuart Dallas and Alan Judge ensured the Bees ended their promotion winning campaign on a winning note.

After the game, Brentford were presented with a League One runners-up trophy, and all the players given medals before doing a lap of honour around Griffin Park.

Boss Mark Warburton was just pleased, however, with his players' response to last week's lacklustre 4-1 defeat at Colchester.

He said: “They were angry and frustrated last week and wanted to put that right. The game looked like it was going nowhere for a while, but once it got going we looked like our old selves again.”
