Police are refusing to explain why they closed an Ealing station for four hours due to the "nature of arrest" in connection with a rape allegation.
A man had entered the building to make a rape allegation, officers said.
It was re-opened around four hours later.
But a police spokesman did not reveal why the closure was required.
According to the force, a man was was later arrested on Monday (February 1) afternoon.
A police spokesman told getwestlondon on Tuesday (February 2) that police could still not explain the closure due to the "nature of the arrest".
She added that police will not be detailing the reason for its closure.
