Police have confirmed that a cannabis factory discovered on Thursday (February 18) was located in Hanwell and contained around 100 plants.

Sergeant James Lenton from Met police had posted two pictures, on Twitter page Ealing Metropolitan Police Service, of a cannabis factory shortly after it was discovered.

Police did not name where the factory was, but have since confirmed it was located in Sydney Road, Hanwell, Ealing, at around 4pm.

Officers were allowed entry to the premises and discovered around 100 plants.

The force added that cultivation equipment was also discovered in two rooms.

Police said that enquires are ongoing and no arrests have yet been made.
