Ulrich Landvreugd and Dick Schreuder will be hoping to revitalise Barnet at home to Southport this Saturday after their appointment as joint managers this week.
The pair replace Paul Fairclough, who was in interim charge for The Bees' 3-1 defeat to Aldershot Town on Tuesday, which was the side’s fifth loss in six games.
Dani Lopez is expected to start, having delighted Barnet by rejoining the club for a third loan spell from Stevenage; with the Spanish striker having scored seven goals in 14 games in all competitions in his two prior loan spells.
Elliott Johnson and Luisma Villa may return to contention, having been rested for the last game due to being given a rest to avoid a burnout, and illness respectively.
Nick Jupp will keep in place in goal, with Graham Stack revealing that he is still a week away from a return from the calf injury which has kept him out since New Year’s Day.
Winger Mauro Vilhete is expected to keep his place in the side, having scored a fantastic strike in the side’s loss on Tuesday.
Fairclough, who gave Vilhete his debut in the side in 2010, not only commended his ability but his battling qualities also, gushing: "I thought Mauro Vilhete was absolutely outstanding tonight. He’s picked up the man-of-the-match award tonight, and he was fantastic, showing his real quality, in three positions tonight: on the right-wing, upfront and at left-back.
“Mauro Vilhete was probably the one we were worried about most of all (running the risk of injury) –I cannot give the kid enough plaudits. With about 30 minutes to go, he said he was feeling really tired but he kicked on. If we could have that kind of commitment throughout, we would be top of the league.”
