A person was hit by a train at Shepherd’s Bush Overground station on Sunday (March 13).
The man, in his early 20s, is now in west London hospital where he is being treated for multiple injuries. British Transport Police (BTP) say he is in a critical but stable condition.
The incident happened shortly before midday and resulted in major disruption to services running through the station.
BTP were called at 11.47am after the man was hit by a train which set off for Willesden Junction from Clapham Junction at 11.32am.
They say his family have been informed and the incident is currently being treated as non-suspicious.
Three fire engines from North Kensington and Chiswick were at the scene until 1.16pm to assist emergency service colleagues.
The London Air Ambulance helicopter also attended but the injured person was taken by road to Major Trauma Centre for treatment.
