The wait will soon be over as London is about to find out who their next Mayor is.

The majority of votes of the various borough ballots have been counted are currently being adjudicated across the 14 constiuencies.

Labour's Sadiq Khan appears to have beaten his nearest rival, Conservative candidate Zac Goldsmith, to win the vote, giving London a Labour Mayor again for the first time since 2008.

We will be bringing you a live feed of the results direct from City Hall as all the candidates come together to find out the results of the highly-anticipated vote.

A City Hall spokeswoman has confirmed that Mayoral results can be expected anytime between 6.30pm-1am but we will be streaming live from around 7pm, when an announcement is expected to happen.

Times of the results may vary if a result of any of the 14 constituents' ballots are contested by any of the candidates.
