Asif Iqbal MBE, president of HUDC, said: “Chinese New Year is a celebration and with a diverse communities attending our HUDC’s events, it is important for us to showcase some awareness and understanding of different culture and communities including their celebrations.

"Chinese New Year and our New Year came up in the same month so it was an ideal opportunity to celebrate the New Year in style at our new venue – The Bridge."
