Free hugs were on offer as a part of the Hugs For Harrow initiative.
The group signed up to the Action for Happiness Campaign, for spreading love and joy to people in day to day life.
Their work caught the attention of Allison Brice, who organises events for unpaid carers at St Peter’s Church in Sumner Road, West Harrow, and the huggers were invited to go along on Friday, December 6, and do what they do best.
Georgia Weston, who has been involved with Hugs For Harrow for 18 months, said: “The idea is to make the world a better place with free hugs, and to make it a happier place to live and work.
“We were honoured to meet so many lovely and hard working carers. It was a pleasure to spend some time with them.”
